Lauren Egierd

General Manager

Lauren is a New Jersey native who relocated to South Carolina in 2018. She spent the first 15 years of her professional career as an executive director of operations for a software development company until her love of animals drove her to the decision to apply her expert knowledge to a field she was most passionate about.

Lauren went on to become a certified dog groomer, worked as a veterinary technician, managed a large full-service pet resort, and owned and operated her pet care facility for 13 years. She is certified in pet first aid and CPR and is passionate about continuing her education in the pet care industry. She loves the outdoors, riding her horse, studying canine psychology and behavior, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her children and of course, her dogs—Bronco, Roxy, Tank, and Sarge.

Darwin Perkins

Operations Manager

Darwin has been in the pet care profession for over thirteen years, with experience ranging from kennel attendant to pet care technician. He has been a massive part of K9 Cabana thanks to his love of animals and his diverse knowledge of the pet care field. Besides handling animals nearly every day, Darwin loves spending as much time as possible with his family.
